Shangrila-la hotel high tea @ KL

Image
11 Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, 50250, Malaysia Tel: 0320743900 Lounge and Bar Cuisine | Lobby Level Here's the much a waited high tea. First time having high tea at Shangri-la hotel.  The best place to ensconce oneself is by the floor to ceiling windows overlooking ponds, fountains and verdant lush tropical gardens. Wing and club chairs issue elegance in their soft upholstery and a comfortable place to rest.  Pondside is the most popular location, so if tea with a view is your thing, be sure to reserve a spot in advance.  ( Idk bout you but I love the ambience here. )                     Well it was a fine weather that day.  Lounge’s Traditional Afternoon Tea and Malaysian Afternoon Tea is available daily from 3 – 6pm and are priced at RM55++ per set. The brown and white sugar. Xueyi is fascinated by the sugar stick.                         ...

Lot 926, jalan P.Ramlee, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.  Tel:  (603)27132333 In the hustle and bustle of KL, Grand Modesto is a cosy yet happening place.  You can play pool or sip a cold beer in a longish bar downstairs or soak up the superb view from the upper area. It was Sunday, after morning service at the church, I meet up with my pretty babe , Xueyi. Planned for a high tea  since we both were kinda stress up with the uni life  at Shangri-la hotel (check out my next blog)  But well high tea start at 3pm and we we re famished enough since 1pm we meet up.  Had lunch at Grand Modesto's bar situated near KLCC and walking distance from Shangri-la hotel. It's a superb experience for it was our first time and a steady last minute visit. You know what's the best thing??! They having 50% discount so all the food are half price. :D The menu, not many choice for I guess it's suppose to be mainly drinks. A pub afterall.  The interior design, so dark but the waiter ...

Cafe • Seksyen 17 BG-8, Jalan 17/13, Seksyen 17, 46400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia +60 3-7955 3885 Opens daily from 11am – 10pm. TGIF. It was Friday before bible study at the church. Seems like the only time I can eat nice food is when there's activities in church. Found this cafe suggested by foursquare.  Food Foundry, a long standing restaurant in the most bizarre location- nestled in a low-cost flats area (Happy Mansion), spanning across three shop lot at the ground floor.  It was very quiet and very few customers that time. But I guess it is crowded if you visit during lunch hour (judging from other blog entry)  The restaurant are deco with simple art like butterfly. A very simple cafe and quiet area, a good place for deep conversation I guess :P     Fresh flower placed on each table :)                         Iced latte @ RM11             VANILLA MILLE @ RM9...

Rekindle @ KL

No 25 jalan ss2/64, Petaling jaya.  Opening Hours:  Monday close. 10.30am – 11.30pm (Tues – Thursday), 10.30am – 12:30am (Friday – Saturday), 10.30am – 11.30pm (Sunday) The interior of the coffee shop caught my attention at first, so nostalgic! They have mismatched chairs, and the shop uses mostly  brown tones.  Basically, it's a modern-vintage concept, which is what most young people adore. My favourite cafĂ© of all time babeh. It was a Thursday after fasting pray at church. After fix my craving for Wong kok, we decided to have a coffee session.             I kinda like the brick wall :P       Their tables, have the sewing machine wheel underneath. There's some simple deco items that bring out art from the 60s.                    Mocha RM11.00     ...
