Batam trip PART 2
The Day 2
Wet Hainan kueh tiao
Ice kacang
Good morning! It's day 2, we woke up seeing Malaysia time 9am thinking we are already late for the hotel buffet, but actually it's only 8am in Batam!!
TIME TRAVEL DAY2 LOLL
Well we have plenty of time now to eat breakf then.
They serve variety of food and good standard. I heard they just open this hotel for less than a year only, hopefully they maintain this standard (:
After breakf, we went back to our room and rest for 2 hours and then start our shopping
I tried this Ding Tea oblong grass jelly. I think this can be found in sg or kl, somehow I have heard the name but it's my first time trying and its nicee. Mom didn't want to try but she end up finish 70% of my drink you know.
After walk here and there and bought few stuff. Howard even try their foot massage and spa for RM80.
In the afternoon we visit this seaside seafood restaurant. Journey from hotel is around 25 minutes.
It's call "Rezeki seafood restaurant"
A pretty well known restaurant that often visited by Singapore actor. Imagine if you live in Singapore, you just take a short duration ferry here to eat super cheap and fresh seafood. Ohh~
They serve fresh and young coconut! They even have their own coconut tree surrounding the restaurant. (No doubt for the freshness)
Gong gong
Fried sotong
Lobster
Kankung belacan
Crab
Photo session with pretty Elize!
The seafood total cost us RM300. Expensive but then the delicious and freshness are worth it.
After seafood feast. We headed to another shopping mall to try their well known pizza.
It's called panties pizza at Kepri mall.
After pizza snack we decided to watch the latest movie Peterpan!
I thought it gonna be a wasting time watching Disney type movie but then the story line is really nice. I want to watch again ! :D
"Believe you can fly"
We had our supper at A2 food court, an open space food court.
We were glad that the haze level is less than 100, kinda no haze.
Satay pig and chicken
Chicken wings.
Dry Hainan Char Kueh tiao
Wet Hainan kueh tiao
Ikan bakar
Ice kacang
Chicken rice
Overall the food is niceee. But the Ikan bakar in Johor are still best. Honestly even I visit Kuala Lumpur, ikan bakar in Johor is the best :P
After a day full of eating! We went back to our room resting.
My father has been to Malaysia 5 times and is absolutely in love with the culture there. We are from the US and we love to travel to visit such amazing places. One day I hope to visit Malaysia! (My mom says she isn't hungry so often so she doesn't order anything but always ends up eating all my food!)
