 POV : You are on maternity leave with your second baby, but it also means you get another maternity leave with your firstborn. 🥹 "Mom can do wonders, you can do it" Day 1 (15 May) After fasting for 26 hours, it’s finally my turn for C-section in the middle of the night. According to the machine, I do have contractions going on, but maybe my pain threshold is high, so I hardly feel my contractions. (yikes) I still remember there’s a mini discomfort and pelvic expansion for the past 26 hours. Here’s my rating for childbirth pain: -contraction 0/10 -checking opening 0/10 -urinary catheter 0/10 -suture 0/10 -epidural 2/10 -placenta removal 2/10 -iv branula 1/10 (MO poor skill ft multiple try error) -post surgery pain 7/10 After surgery, I was escorted to the recovery hall for a good 2 hours to make sure the epidural effect is reducing and I’m able to move my toes.  It's the little things, the daily mess, That turns our lives into one big jest. So here’s a tip: laugh while you can— Every day’s a comedy, that’s the plan! Thank you to my husband, Nic. I still remember the first time we met. I thought you were pretty amazing then, but I had no idea. No matter where we go, I’m home with you. You have been steadfast, loving, and incredibly supportive, and you have been in it with me since the first keystroke. It’s you and me till the end! very the fairytale I KNOW.  If you have read my very previous blog entry, you will remember that I've mentioned about mr.husband Nic came back from China for a good one month (Aelfred's 2nd birthday). I realize why bible doesn't say "Love your parents" -because love is a feeling but honor is a choice.  Even when they don't understand you,  even when they are difficult and even when they weren't perfect. -God ask for honor even when love feels hard. Le hubby manage to come back celebrate Aelfred's 3 years old BDay. Isabelle 3 month old and Aelfred 3 years old! It's almost 2 years being in a long distance relationship with le hubby. Looking back how depressed I was when we started to discuss about why he have to move to another city/far away from me.  Well, I should have calm down. LIFE KEEPS MOVING FORWARD, no matter what happens-it is the changes that make you stronger. YES le hubby is away from 2024 till at least 2027.  "Most woman are not looking for men to take care of them anymore.
