Transient love.

 

In so many cases, when one person says to another, “I Love You, but let’s not ruin it by getting married” that person really means “my love for you has not reached the marriage level” or “Love is primarily as emotional desire and not as active committed service”

Now I know that the reason you should not simply date people is because you will subconsciously stop giving each time a relationship ended. Then finally, one day you will missed the old innocent you.

 

To convince someone is never my talent. A man wakes up one day and tell his wife that he thought he is dead. And he mention the same thing the next day and the day after. Soon, one day, the wife ask him to see psychologist. But even after counselling the husband insist that he is dead. So the wife bring him to meet medical doctor, wearing white coat sitting infront of husband and say ‘’dead people don’t bleed, it’s proven”. The doctor then took a needle and poke on the husband’s finger and it begins to bleed. Then the husband was like “OMG, am I the first dead person who bleed?!” There are time when you should stop convince someone and let them keep their own mindset.

 

Why are you allowed to be in heaven? The answer should be by faith alone. By faith in Jesus who died on the cross for my sins. NOPE. Don’t mention you pay tithes and faithfully go church. Nothing. Just Jesus. Without Jesus you will not inherit kingdom of heaven. So why still pay tithes? If church insist it is compulsory to pay tithes because James 2 (Without work your action is dead). Then don’t stop reading that text, go on to James 10 you will realize the works you do is for men to see as a good testimony to follow. But pay tithes is not necessary. God does not need your money to bless you. This is not a business. According to Paul, if we are adding works onto grace, this is no longer Christian teaching.

 

A few years later, to her surprise, she met a man, fell in love, and married. Looking back, there was no doubt in her mind that, if she had married her old boyfriend, it would have been a disaster. She would have looked to him to give her what only Christ can, and therefore she wouldn’t have been in a position to serve and care for the previous boyf.

 When the bible speaks of love, it measures it primarily not by how much you want to receive but by how much you are willing to give of yourself to someone. How much of your freedom are you willing to forsake?

To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial.
To be known but not loved is our greatest fear.
To be truly known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God.
